1999–2000 Toronto Raptors season

The 1999–2000 season was Toronto's fifth season in the team's franchise.〔(1999-2000 Toronto Raptors )〕 Former Charlotte Hornets 5'3" point guard Muggsy Bogues was added to the roster during the offseason. Before the start of the season, first round pick and high schooler Jonathan Bender was traded to the Indiana Pacers for Antonio Davis. The Raptors improved and qualified for their first playoff appearance with a 45-37 record, finishing third in the Central Division. In the postseason, they were swept in the first round by the New York Knicks. Vince Carter led them with 25.7 points per game. He also won the Slam Dunk Contest during the All-Star Weekend in Oakland and was selected for the 2000 NBA All-Star Game. Following the season, Tracy McGrady was traded to the Orlando Magic.
The team's season roster is featured in the video game ''NBA 2K16''.
